Born in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in the heart of Fort Myers’ Dunbar community since the age of four, Ron Mathews has dedicated his life to building stronger communities through entrepreneurship, education, and sustainable development.

A proud husband and father, Ron’s journey began at Florida A&M University (1997–2003), where he cultivated a passion for leadership, service, and social impact. After returning to Fort Myers, he launched one of the region’s most successful academic enrichment programs,
empowering over 1,500 students across eight years.

That experience inspired a new mission — to transform access to homeownership. Recognizing the challenges families face in today’s housing market, Ron turned his focus to the construction and real estate development industry, with a goal of creating affordable, high-quality homes that uplift working families and revitalize communities.

For the past five years, he has been leading initiatives that make homeownership attainable for the average household, while forging partnerships that drive long-term community growth and economic opportunity.

Through every project, Ron Mathews continues to combine vision, purpose, and integrity — working to ensure that every family has the opportunity to own a home they can be proud of.
